Role Overview
As our Growth & Ops Lead, you’ll own the end-to-end audience engine: scaling our reach, automating distribution, deploying AI tools, and building a loyal executive community. You’re hands-on, fast-moving, and obsessed with systems that turn content into influence and influence into subscribers.
Key Responsibilities
- Growth & Automation:
- Relentlessly implement new tools & data-driven growth experiments to build and convert a high-quality audience (measured by newsletter subscribers, website traffic, inbound leads).
- Launch and run growth experiments weekly: audience targeting, SEO, paid/organic hacks, newsletter funnel tests.
- Build AI-powered content workflows using tools like GPT, Zapier, Notion AI, and repurpose long-form content into social, newsletter, video, and SEO assets.
- Community:
- Build and engage a high-trust community of execs and founders. Make 51 a must-follow brand on X, LinkedIn, Substack, and Discord.
- Create high-signal conversations. Turn passive readers into advocates and contributors.
- Launch and moderate small private groups, Q&As, and digital roundtables.
- Events & Partnerships:
- Plan, organize, and conduct high-impact online and offline events , such as webinars, networking events, live events and Q&A sessions
- Collaborate directly with partners like Avalanche, MoonPay, NEAR, Coindesk, and others to shape the content and format.
- Build and run a repeatable playbook for promotion, moderation, lead capture, and content repurposing.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in growth, operations, media, or community roles, ideally within a high-growth startup, media platform, or B2B-focused company.
- A proven track record in scaling B2B audiences via social, SEO, newsletters, LinkedIn/X, and distribution partnerships.
- Experience automating content and marketing workflows using AI and tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, Notion, GPT, Clay, or similar.
- Excellent storytelling + systems thinking—you can scale content without sacrificing quality.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; you can moderate, pitch, and engage C-level audiences confidently.
- Familiarity with the Web3 and AI ecosystem—and a desire to translate it for business decision-makers.
- You move fast, own problems, and don’t wait to be told what to do.
